Policy-based management is the key to Qlusters Resource Manager automatic application provisioning. By allowing the data center manager the capability to set rules that govern the allocation of resources, Qlusters Resource Manager automates the data center. When an application requires increased compute power – for instance a financial application at the end of the month that needs to close books – Qlusters Resource Manager automatically recognizes the condition (based on time, date and/or usage) and automatically adjusts resource allocation. With Qlusters Resource Manager, the data center dynamically responds to the changing requirements of its users, based on user defined parameters.
